The EHF EURO 2018 from 12 to 18 January in Croatia draws closer; time for us to come to an end with the 'Throwback Thursday' series featuring historic EHF EURO Finals.

And we do so in style with Germany's crushing 24:17 defeat of Spain on 31 January 2016 in a jam-packed Tauron Arena in Krakow.

For the German squad it was their second title following the victory against Slovenia in 2004; for Spain it marked a fourth final lost, but at least their sixth EHF EURO medal /4x silver, 2x bronze).

The match is broadcast at 15:00 CET on the EHF EURO Facebook page and the EHF EURO Youtube channel.

On another note, what is not over yet, is our series of Instagram live interviews. So make sure you tune into our Instagram account at 13:00 CET on Friday (5 January) to watch ehfTV commentator Chris O'Reilly chats with Sweden's goalkeeper Mikael Appelgren.
