Fans to vote for EHF EURO All-star team

The eight best players at the EHF EURO 2018 will be jointly selected by the fans and an expert panel

The Men’s EHF EURO 2018 in Croatia rewards its fans with a chance to participate in the voting for the all-star team.

From a selection of 40 players, five in each position and the best defender, fans are being asked to choose their favourites. The final team is decided by a fan vote and an EHF panel of experts, while event’s Most Valuable Player will be selected by the expert panel only.

Only three players (Andreas Wolff, Sander Sagosen and Manuel Strlek) from the EHF EURO 2016 in Poland made it back to the nomination list this time around. In total, there are 11 national teams represented with France, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Spain with 5 players each followed by Croatia with four.

The vote will be open until Saturday, 27 January 2018, 13:00 hrs. The all-star team will be announced during the last EHF EURO 2018 Live Show which starts on Sunday, 28 January 2018 at 17:00 hrs.

Players have been nominated on the basis of their comprehensive performance throughout the tournament so far; not just their goal-getting prowess, but also their performance in defence, the number of blocks, assists and reaction in crucial moments during each match.
